Meet Our Director

Leon Dunning is a pastor, church planter, and experienced ministry leader dedicated to equipping pastors and strengthening local churches. He founded Salt Church in Virginia Beach, a thriving local church reaching the unchurched in the Oceanfront and military communities.

Leon holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Appalachian State University and a M.A. in Theology from Regent University, blending practical leadership expertise with deep theological training.

In his role as Assistant Bishop, he provides strategic oversight, pastoral support, and leadership development across the network. His passion is to see leaders empowered, churches healthy, and communities transformed through the message of Jesus Christ.

Leon is married to his wife, Miranda, and they have two children, Max and Savannah. They live in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
