Meet Our Director
Pastor Kevin Bordeaux serves as the Lead Pastor of Thrive Church. He is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and equipping churches to reach their full potential.
Pastor Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries with a focus in New Testament Greek from Emmanuel College, a Master of Ministry in Christian Leadership from Southwestern Christian University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology from Covenant Bible College & Seminary.
Since coming to Thrive Church in 2012, he has led the launch of the Chesterfield campus and the expansion into the Richmond City campus in 2014.
Kevin and his wife, Caroline, have two sons, Dawson and Brooks. They enjoy hiking and discovering new places to eat around Richmond.
In addition to his role at Thrive, Pastor Kevin serves churches across the U.S. through church consulting, church-planting coaching, and as a freelance writer for Christian ministry platforms.

HGM (Healthy, Growing, Multiplying Churches) is the IPHC’s church-planting initiative designed to help pastors launch strong, life-giving churches. Through experienced coaching, assessment tools, and ongoing support, HGM equips planters to build healthy ministries that grow and multiply. It provides connection, training, and a clear pathway so leaders don’t plant alone but thrive with a supportive network every step of the way.
